Santa Coffee morning 2025
Allied Fleet on behalf of Connie McShane
My Story
This Christmas Allied Fleet are raising money for the Children's Heatbeat Trust.
Our colleagues neice Connie McShane was born in February with a severe heart condition that was only picked up a few hours after she was born. She was diagnosed with a condition called Coarctation of the aorta and Shones Complex. Connie is only 9 months old and in her short life she has undergone 1 open heart surgery and 3 cath surgeries. Connie will undergo single ventricle surgery in the lead up to Christmas, meaning she will spend her first Christmas in hospital. This surgery, named The Norwood surgery, is the first of three major surguries Connie will need over the coming months and years. Connie has been through so much during the past 9 months but as you as you can see she always has the biggest smile on her face! The Children's Heartbeat Trust has been a massive support to Connie's Mum, Dad and her two brothers.
We are planning a Santa Coffee morning at our office on the 23rd of December from 11am to 2pm, everyone is welcome! Santa himself is taking time out of his busy schedule to make a visit, and we will also have activities and treats for the kids along with Tea, coffee and treats for the big Kids! We would be grateful for any donations to help The Children's Heatbeat Trust continue their fantastic work and help all those families that will spend Christmas in hospital this year.
Children's Heartbeat Trust is a leading charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to supporting children living with congenital or acquired heart disease.
Every week in Northern Ireland, 4 more babies are born with heart disease.
Our mission is to provide practical, emotional and financial support; advocate for improved healthcare services and raise awareness of heart disease in children and it's impact.
Without Children's Heartbeat Trust there would be no tailored support for hundreds of children and their families in Northern Ireland.
Together we can make a difference. Thank you for your support.
